ALPHADEV was created as an association in March 2003 by young people and adults sharing values and principles since its inception. It works for the socio-economic promotion of women, youth and children from disadvantaged backgrounds. It became a non-governmental organization under Senegalese law in 2009.

TEEN CAMP ON ADOLESCENT AND YOUTH HEALTH AND THE FIGHT AGAINST GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE FROM 11 TO 17 SEPTEMBER 2023 IN KEUR MASSAR

For the 3rd edition of the Teen Camp, ALPHADEV plans to bring together 30 teenagers and young people from the Department of Keur Massar and the Commune of Gniby in the Region of Kaffrine, for seven (7) days of activities to enable them to share best practice on reproductive health issues and the fight against gender-based violence.

WORLD DAY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CHILD ABUSE AND INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S RIGHTS DAY

19 and 20 NovemberThe NGO ALPHADEV is celebrating World Day for Prevention of Child Abuse and International Children's Rights Day, and is inviting children to take part in the campaign for children. Children are vulnerable and must be treated with respect and fairness. That's why these days are important moments to make their voices heard. The International Convention on the Rights of the Child was adopted in 1989 and signed by Senegal.

States that have ratified this convention undertake to respect children's rights in all areas (health, education, protection against violence, etc.).
