Improving the Food Security and Nutritional Situation through Functional Literacy
The ASSANAF project (Improving the Food Security and Nutritional Situation through Functional Literacy) is a partnership between Alphadev and Horizont3000 that contributes to the achievement of H3000's country program objectives. For this second phase 2019-2022, ALPHADEV continues the momentum started in the regions of Kaolack, Thies, Fatick, Kaffrine, Kolda and Tambacounda.
The project started with 13 circles for a test phase. Thus, the results obtained have allowed the project to be extended to other villages for more support in the process of sustaining the country program's investments.

The objective of the project is to strengthen the technical, organizational and financial skills and capacities of households with better integration of the gender dimension in the regions of Fatick, Kaolack, Kaffrine, Tambacounda, Kolda and Thiès by 2022.
As expected results; four main ones have been retained.
